Transition Metals in Molecular Chemistry<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>

Grandes lignes<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Le master M\u00e9taux de Transition en Chimie Mol\u00e9culaire (\u00ab\u00a0Transition Metals in Molecular Chemistry\u00a0\u00bb \u2013 T2MC) offre une formation sup\u00e9rieure en chimie mol\u00e9culaire. Il se distingue des offres de formation nationales et europ\u00e9ennes en ce qu\u2019il met l\u2019accent sur la chimie des m\u00e9taux de transition et ses applications. Des techniques p\u00e9dagogiques attrayantes permettent aux \u00e9tudiants d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir des comp\u00e9tences solides en chimie mol\u00e9culaire tout en illustrant la fa\u00e7on dont ces connaissances peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es, par exemple pour r\u00e9duire l\u2019impact \u00e9cologique d\u2019un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 de synth\u00e8se ou contribuer au d\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019imagerie m\u00e9dicale. Le master T2MC met aussi en place une politique volontariste pour s\u2019ouvrir \u00e0 l\u2019international\u00a0: par exemple, chaque ann\u00e9e un partenariat fort avec l\u2019UCT de Prague permet \u00e0 3 ou 4 \u00e9tudiants d\u2019obtenir un double dipl\u00f4me.<\/span><\/p>

Description du programme<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Il existe un fort besoin en chimistes qualifi\u00e9s, quel que soit leur niveau, pour maintenir les activit\u00e9s dans les industries pharmaceutique et chimique, un secteur industriel de premier plan. Les laboratoires UBFC ICMUB (\u00e0 Dijon) et UTINAM (\u00e0 Besan\u00e7on) d\u00e9veloppent des activit\u00e9s de recherche en droite ligne de la chimie industrielle. Le master T2MC est bas\u00e9 sur les activit\u00e9s de recherche d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019ICMUB et \u00e0 l\u2019UTINAM, comme l\u2019imagerie mol\u00e9culaire et m\u00e9dicale et le d\u00e9veloppement durable. Il est ax\u00e9 sur la transmission de comp\u00e9tences actualis\u00e9es concernant les multiples facettes de la chimie, en mettant l\u2019accent sur les m\u00e9taux de transition. Des cours seront donn\u00e9s dans les principaux domaines de la chimie\u00a0: en chimie organique, inorganique, bio-inorganique, en chimie analytique, en spectroscopie, en \u00e9lectrochimie, en mod\u00e9lisation mol\u00e9culaire. Des cours plus sp\u00e9cifiques seront donn\u00e9s en \u00e9lectrosynth\u00e8se, sur les m\u00e9taux en biologie et la chimie de coordination, les m\u00e9canismes des r\u00e9actions et la\u00a0mod\u00e9lisation mol\u00e9culaire, la catalyse en milieu sp\u00e9cifique ou non sp\u00e9cifique, les nanomat\u00e9riaux mol\u00e9culaires, les sondes mol\u00e9culaires pour l\u2019imagerie m\u00e9dicale. Tout au long des deux ann\u00e9es du master, des cours transversaux seront donn\u00e9s en gestion de projet, en innovation et en communication, des visites de sites industriels et des s\u00e9minaires par des industriels seront organis\u00e9s. De plus, un projet tutor\u00e9 et deux stages de 3 \u00e0 6 mois concernant des projets de recherche, \u00e0 l\u2019ICMUB ou en-dehors, feront partie du cursus T2MC.<\/span>

Perspectives de carri\u00e8re<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Le master T2MC a pour but de pr\u00e9parer des chimistes mol\u00e9culaires de haut niveau. Les cours sont bas\u00e9s sur de solides connaissances de base en chimie pluridisciplinaire (organique, inorganique, analytique, th\u00e9orique, des mat\u00e9riaux) et plus particuli\u00e8rement la chimie fine, et la chimie des m\u00e9taux de transition. Les connaissances formelles sont illustr\u00e9es par des exemples pratiques vari\u00e9s en lien avec les applications de la chimie des m\u00e9taux de transition. Les dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s seront de bons candidats pour des postes dans l\u2019industrie, tels qu\u2019ing\u00e9nieur ou directeur R&D, chef de projet, gestionnaire de produits, vendeur technique, consultant, ou encore directeur de production. Le champ d\u2019activit\u00e9s peut \u00eatre tr\u00e8s large\u00a0: les industries pharmaceutique, p\u00e9trochimique, phytosanitaire bien s\u00fbr, mais aussi des industries qui utilisent la chimie (l\u2019automobile, l\u2019a\u00e9ronautique, l\u2019\u00e9nergie, la protection de l\u2019environnement, etc.). Ce master est orient\u00e9 vers la recherche, et les \u00e9tudiants seront bien pr\u00e9par\u00e9s pour poursuivre leurs \u00e9tudes en doctorat dans des laboratoires internationaux de haut niveau, leur permettant \u00e9ventuellement d\u2019acc\u00e9der \u00e0 une carri\u00e8re universitaire (ma\u00eetre de conf\u00e9rences, chercheur, professeur, etc.) ou \u00e0 des postes de haut niveau dans l\u2019industrie. La possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019obtenir un doctorat est particuli\u00e8rement int\u00e9ressante pour postuler ensuite sur des postes en-dehors de France. Le large \u00e9ventail de m\u00e9tiers auxquels le master T2MC donne acc\u00e8s permet de postuler dans le monde entier (de nombreux anciens doctorants issus de nos deux laboratoires sont actuellement employ\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger, y compris aux Etats-Unis et au Canada). De plus, Dijon est id\u00e9alement situ\u00e9e, car elle est proche de la Suisse et de l\u2019Allemagne, qui sont deux des pays leaders mondiaux en chimie.<\/span><\/p>

Profil des candidats<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Pour \u00eatre \u00e9ligibles au master T2MC, les \u00e9tudiants devront \u00eatre d\u00e9tenteurs d\u2019un dipl\u00f4me \u00e9quivalent ou sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 une licence de sciences. Des connaissances g\u00e9n\u00e9rales en chimie g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, en synth\u00e8se mol\u00e9culaire et en spectrom\u00e9trie sont obligatoires. Les candidats devront avoir des tr\u00e8s bons r\u00e9sultats acad\u00e9miques et une tr\u00e8s bonne pratique de l\u2019anglais.<\/span><\/p>

Double dipl\u00f4me<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

Le master T2MC offre la possibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 3 ou 4 \u00e9tudiants par an d\u2019obtenir un double dipl\u00f4me (master de l\u2019universit\u00e9 de Bourgogne \u2013 Franche-Comt\u00e9 + master de l\u2019UCT Prague). Les \u00e9tudiants s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s effectuent leur premi\u00e8re ann\u00e9e de master \u00e0 l\u2019UCT Prague et leur deuxi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019universit\u00e9 de Bourgogne \u2013 Franche-Comt\u00e9 \u00e0 Dijon.<\/span><\/p>
