Those who want to spend some time at a university abroad can consult the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/umap.openstreetmap.fr\/fr\/map\/partner-universities-ubfc_474469#5\">list of UBFC international agreements<\/a> (click on &#8220;voir les calques&#8221; on the left to see per Master) to find information on UBFC partner universities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As an exchange student you study at a partner university for some period and you stay enrolled at UBFC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">UBFC students considering a student exchange abroad, have to get selected by UBFC in order to be part of the exchange program. You must apply by contacting the Master\u2019s exchange coordinator. The exchange coordinator and the pedagogical committee decide which students will be nominated for exchange studies. This selection does not guarantee the acceptance by partner\u2019s admission committee, and thereby the admission to the exchange program. The acceptance by the partner institution is conditional on the admission to the exchange program.<\/p>\n<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1101\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix elementor-active\" role=\"tabpanel\" data-tab=\"1\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1101\">\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: justify;\"><strong>1. Contact UBFC International Relations office or exchange coordinator<\/strong> to make sure you are eligible to apply. Follow the selection process and get the nomination for academic exchange abroad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Your application for student exchange consists of\u00a0 a motivation letter, a recommendation letter from one of your professors, \u00a0a learning agreement, a copy of passport or national identity card, a transcript of records and a language certificate<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: justify;\"><strong>2. Once you have been nominated by UBFC<\/strong>, you will be contacted by the International Relations office at the partner university and informed how to proceed with the exchange application.<\/p>\n<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1102\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix elementor-active\" role=\"tabpanel\" data-tab=\"2\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1102\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Decisions regarding acceptance are made by faculties of the partner university. Accepted students receive an official acceptance certificate with their acceptance e-mail. This certificate is sent directly to the student and UBFC\u2019s exchange coordinator. The International Relations office at the partner university will provide you with all necessary information you might need to go forward:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>a letter of admission ;<\/li>\n<li>visa procedures ;<\/li>\n<li>an arrival guide.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For any enquiry concerning student mobility at UBFC, you can <strong>contact<\/strong>: <a href=\"mailto:studentexchange@ubfc.fr\">studentexchange@ubfc.fr<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-toggle-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-1592\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-1592\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon elementor-toggle-icon-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-caret-right\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened\"><i class=\"elementor-toggle-icon-opened fas fa-caret-up\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-toggle-title\" tabindex=\"0\">Exchange student Erasmus+<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1592\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1592\"><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You are considered as an Erasmus+ exchange student when you go to study for a semester or an academic year with one of our partners within the framework of an Erasmus+ agreement concluded with UBFC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The courses you will follow abroad are those of the Master for which the Erasmus+ agreement has been concluded.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Application<\/strong>: see the<a href=\"https:\/\/umap.openstreetmap.fr\/fr\/map\/partner-universities-ubfc_474469#5\"> list of partner universities<\/a> (click on &#8220;voir les calques&#8221; on the left to see per Master) that have signed an Erasmus+ agreement with UBFC for your course of study (each agreement is concluded for a specific master\u2019s degree). Then make 3 wishes to your master\u2019s supervisor(s). The person(s) in charge of your master\u2019s degree and the teaching staff will decide collectively on your destination according to the places available, the courses in the partner university, your project for the M2 and your professional project.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Preparation of the mobility file<\/strong>: once the destination has been decided, prepare a CV and a cover letter in English as well as your bachelor\u2019s degree transcripts. These documents should be sent to the International Relations Department. The service will guide you to fill out the mobility kit: a mobility contract (travel insurance, accident insurance\/internship, civil liability, mutual insurance\u2026) and a study contract (list of courses taken abroad equivalent to the courses normally taken in the curriculum at UBFC to be validated before departure).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Visa<\/strong>: Depending on the destination and the length of time spent abroad, you may need a visa or a residence permit. Visit the website of the embassy of your home country in your destination country to find out more.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Recognition of your mobility<\/strong>: The recognition of courses taken abroad is automatically done through the study contract signed before your departure. After validation of credits after your exams at the host university, your component\u2019s schooling in France will be validated by equivalence.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Language suppor<\/strong>t: Before your departure, you will take an online language test (language used for your courses or your internship abroad). You will have free access to courses via OLS (Online Linguistic Support) as part of the Erasmus+ program if your level is below B2. At the end of your mobility, you will take a language test to see if you have improved. This test is mandatory in order to receive the 2nd part of the Erasmus+ grant.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Financial aid:<\/strong> in order to help you finance your semester or year abroad, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ubfc.fr\/en\/going-abroad\/scholarships\/\">several grants can be cumulated.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Depending on the number of students leaving for mobility and the budget allocated to UBFC, the attribution of an Erasmus+ mobility scholarship is not guaranteed. It gives them the opportunity to follow part of their program at a partner university and benefit from a complementary education certified by a double diploma.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Double degree students\u00a0 usually take the first year of the Master\u2019s program at UBFC and the second year at one of our partner universities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After applying and having been accepted to a Master\u2019s program included in the double degree agreements listed, students will be offered the opportunity of a double degree. Directly after enrolment at UBFC, you may apply by contacting the Master\u2019s program director. The program director and the pedagogical committee decide which students will be nominated for double degree studies. After acceptance, double Master\u2019s degree students follow a specially tailored syllabus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">UBFC students who have been nominated for double degree programs must prepare a pre-application with the following documents for the partner university:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Transcripts of records<\/li>\n<li>CV<\/li>\n<li>Language certificate (min. B2 in English, the certificate delivered by UBFC is accepted)<\/li>\n<li>Motivation letter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The acceptance by UBFC does not guarantee the admission to a double degree program.
