Choose your program<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Explore the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ubfc.fr\/en\/formations\/masters\/\">list of UBFC English-taught Master\u2019s Degrees<\/a> and the key information for each program.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Check the specific admission requirements that applies to the desired Master\u2019s program(s).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>2. In addition, there are numerous ways for UBFC students to spend some time abroad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Exchange student (non Erasmus+)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">UBFC welcomes not only full-time\u00a0degree students, but also provides an international experience to nominated students from partner universities all over the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As an exchange student you study at UBFC for a some period and you stay enrolled at your home institution. At the end of your stay, you will receive a course transcript of records, an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/education\/resources-and-tools\/european-credit-transfer-and-accumulation-system-ects_en\">ECTS (European Credit Transfer System)<\/a>\u00a0grade and ECTS credits for followed classes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In order to be accepted as an exchange student at UBFC,\u00a0<strong>your home university must have an exchange agreement with UBFC<\/strong>. Apply in your home university<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Contact your home International Office or Exchange coordinator to make sure you are eligible to apply<\/li>\n<li>Follow the selection process at your home university and get the nomination for academic exchange at UBFC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Your application for student exchange consists of\u00a0 a motivation letter,\u00a0a learning agreement,\u00a0a recommendation letter from one of your professors,\u00a0 a copy of passport or national identity card, a transcript of records\u00a0and\u00a0a language certificate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: justify;\"><strong>2. Wait for UBFC feedback <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Once you have been nominated by your home university for student exchange at UBFC, wait for the feedback from UBFC. When the International Office at UBFC receives your nomination, you will be contacted by the UBFC International Office and informed how to proceed with the exchange application.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Decisions regarding acceptance are made<\/strong> by faculties\u00a0of UBFC who make the admission decision on the basis of the application file and enclosures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If students meet the requirements set by UBFC, they receive an official scanned acceptance certificate with their acceptance e-mail. This certificate is sent directly to the student and his\/her home university\u2019s exchange coordinator. They are to be paid at your home university only.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">***<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Exchange student Erasmus+<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You are recognized as an Erasmus+ exchange student when you come to study at UBFC for a semester or an academic year as part of an Erasmus+ agreement between your home university and UBFC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>1. Apply at your home university<\/strong>: contact the International Relations department to ensure that an interinstitutional agreement exists with UBFC in your field of study and apply according to the selection procedure of your home university. Once selected, UBFC receives your nomination by email.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>2. UBFC is considering your nomination<\/strong>. Your file to be sent to the International Relations department consists of your CV, a cover letter, a copy of the passport or national identity card, a transcript of records and possibly a language certificate and a letter of recommendation. Acceptance decisions are made by UBFC faculties on the basis of the application file and attachments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>3. After acceptance<\/strong>, the International Relations department will send you the list of courses of the master\u2019s degree in which you wish to study and you will complete a learning agreement. UBFC will send you an admission letter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>4. Check if you need a visa<\/strong>: nationals of the European Union, the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation do not need a visa or a residence permit. If you are of another nationality, we advise you to contact the French embassy in your country of residence as you may need a visa or a residence permit depending on your situation. You can also inquire on the <a href=\"https:\/\/france-visas.gouv.fr\/en_US\/web\/france-visas\/welcome-page\">government website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>5. Accommodation<\/strong>: you have different <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ubfc.fr\/en\/everyday-life\/housing-facilities\/\">accommodation options<\/a> depending on your study campus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>6. It gives them the opportunity to follow part of their program at a partner university and benefit from a complementary education certified by a double diploma.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">UBFC student<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Double-degree students take in general the first year of the Master&#8217;s programme at UBFC and the second year at one of our partner universities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">UBFC students interested in double degree programs must prepare a pre-application with the following documents for the partner university:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Transcripts of records<\/li>\n<li>CV<\/li>\n<li>Copy of passport or national identity card<\/li>\n<li>Language certificate (min. B2 in English, the certificate delivered by UBFC is accepted)<\/li>\n<li>Recommendation letter from one of the professors<\/li>\n<li>Motivation letter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After finishing your application and having been accepted to a Master\u2019s program included in the <a href=\"https:\/\/umap.openstreetmap.fr\/fr\/map\/partner-universities-ubfc_474469#5\">double degree agreements<\/a> (click on \u201cvoir les calques\u201d on the left to see per Master), students will be offered the opportunity of a double degree. Directly after enrolment at UBFC, you may apply by contacting the Master\u2019s Program Director. The Program Director and the Pedagogical Committee decide which students will be nominated for double degree studies. After acceptance, double Master\u2019s Degree students follow a specially tailored syllabus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The acceptance by UBFC does not guarantee the admission to a double degree program.
